The phone should now say Legacy enabled

Go to Advanced options

then go to Service book

hold ALT then type SBEB

##program(then the model number of the phone) then send  or ##7764726 (model number) then send

so if its  LG Dare 9700  it would be

##program9700  then send

Then go to service Programming

enter service code which is 000000 on Verizon

Then choose service programming

Click OK when then esn pops up

Enter MDN

then MIN

Done Deal

If the phone is still not working, you can manually program the phone.

To manually program your phone, perform the following steps:

NOTE: This article assumes you have completed the steps in How do I activate my phone online? and that you printed or have access to the Activate your new phone page.

1. Turn your phone. To do so, press and hold the Power/Lock key on the top of the phone.
2. Verify that the screen shows the Date and Time.
3. Press the Phone button in the lower-right corner. The Speed Dial screen appears.
4. Touch the Dialer tab. The onscreen dial pad displays.
5. If you have a new phone that has never been activated:
   • Press ## followed by the one-time 6-digit code, located in the Programming Instructions section ofthe Activate your new phone page, followed by an additional #. Example 6-digit code: ##123456#. (The last # entered will not show on the display.)

If you have a used phone that has previously been activated:

1. • Press ## followed by the secondary 6-digit code, located in the Programming Instructions section on the Activate your new phone page, followed by an additional #. Example 6-digit code:##123456#. (The last # entered will not show on the display.)
2. In the MDN Service Program screen, touch Edit.
3. Enter your 10-digit phone number from the Programming Instructions section of the Activate your new phone page, and then touch Done. NOTE: Entering the number erases any numbers currently in the phone.
4. Enter the 10-digit MSID number from the Programming Instructions section on the Activate your new phonepage, then touch Done. The original Device Programming screen appears.
5. Touch Done. The phone automatically turns off and back on again to complete the manual programming.
